Lesson One - Don't Waste Time Grinding
There are many World of Warcraft players who swear that the quickest way to get to level 80 is by grinding. I have been playing World of Warcraft since the launch back in 2005 and I assure you that Grinding is not the fastest way at all.
2) Spend Your Time Questing
The fastest way to level a character is without a doubt leveling. You see, quests are not only there for the story, they are designed to get players to reach the higest level in the shortest amount of time, while giving you a good experience.
The real secret (if any) to fast leveling is to do quests. When doing quests, your character will level at a rate ten times higher than by grinding.
Let us look at a few ways to get the most out of questing:
1.) Never run around without a full quest log
In the long run, you will earn far more experience, than you would, if you discarded quests from the beginning. Even though, you might abandon a quest once in a while.
2.) Do multiple quests at the same time, and wait to turn them in until you have A LOT.
When doing this, you won't have to run forth and back between quest and NPC.
3.) Be ruthless and kill everything
When you are doing the last quest required to fill your quest log, kill your way from objective to objective. By doing this you will gain a lot of experience points and get some loot and gold at the same time.
4.) Always be fully rested
Before logging out, go to the nearest Inn or Capital City. By doing so, you will gain much more rested experience, than you would if you were to log out while in nature. Furthermore, the 200% experience that it gives you is priceless if you want to level quickly.
5.) Do not do the difficult quests yet
Sometimes you might find that when you only have a few quests remaining in any given area, they are too hard to complete. When this happens, move to another area ad do quests here instead. When you have gained another level, you can go back to the original zone and do the remaining quests.
Leveling in World of Warcraft isn't too hard or too complicated. All you have to do is to use your common sense and follow the instructions given in your questlog. The information in this mini guide will help you level faster and easier.
